Outdoor Audio · Designed for Houston Homes

Serious sound.
Invisible hardware.

Outdoor sound systems built around how you actually use your yard. Purpose-built speakers across the spaces where you live outside. Buried subwoofers for real bass, satellites hidden in the landscaping, phone control by zone. Quiet background listening or full-party volume. You choose, zone by zone.

Sound where you actually use the space.

Great outdoor audio is about putting the right sound in the right places. Music by the pool, quiet listening on the patio, nothing on the front yard if you don't want it. Most customers want coverage they can enjoy without broadcasting across the neighborhood, though we can absolutely build systems for full entertainment volume when that's what you're after. Either way, the design starts with how you use the space.

The subwoofer is what makes it sound real

Open-yard zones install as a set of satellite speakers plus a subwoofer. The subwoofer delivers the low end that a standard mid-and-tweeter speaker can't reach. It's the difference between background noise and music you actually feel. Without it, the system sounds thin.

Buried subs, hidden satellites

The subwoofer is typically buried in the ground with only the top sitting above grade, which improves low-end performance and makes it almost disappear once the bed is replanted. The satellites tuck into the landscaping wherever possible. You feel the system. You don't see it.

Built for outdoor life

Speakers voiced for open air and built for UV, heat, and year-round rain. Indoor speakers mounted under an eave aren't designed for Houston summers. Ours are.

Underground connections that last

Direct-burial cable and waterproof connectors at every splice. Everything routed back to a protected amp location you can access when you need to.

Flexible zones throughout the property

Mix subwoofer-driven landscape sets with wall-mount, eave-mount, or in-ceiling speakers. Each zone turns on or off independently from your phone, so you get sound where you want it, at the volume you want, and nowhere you don't.

Phone-based control, zone by zone

Most of our systems run on Sonos because it's a great product and many customers already use it indoors. It supports AirPlay, so no special app is required. When a different control system fits better, we can build on that instead.

How It Works

From site walk to final tuning. One integrator, one system.

One crew designs, installs, and tunes every system. The same number you call to spec it is the number you call later if anything ever needs attention.

01
Site walk & design

We walk the property, talk through how you use each space, and design the zones around that. Speaker counts, placement, amplifier locations, and wire runs are mapped before we quote.

02
Wiring & conduit

Direct-burial cable in conduit where required, routed cleanly back to the amplifier rack. Where possible, we coordinate with landscape or hardscape work so trenches are hidden.

03
Install, configure, tune

Satellites go in, subwoofers get buried, amplifiers get racked, and each zone is added to the control system (usually Sonos). We tune each zone at the speaker and in the app so sound distributes evenly at the listening level you want. Quiet background, full party volume, or different volumes per zone. Your call.

04
Handoff and support

We walk you through the control app, zone by zone. After that, you've got one number to call if a zone drops off or you want to add a space. We handle it.

Investment Range
$3,000 – $20,000+

A basic single-zone install starts at $3,000. More speakers, more power, or longer runs to the amplifier push the single-zone total up. Multi-zone systems roughly multiply from there. Most whole-backyard builds average around $5,000. Larger multi-zone systems run $20,000 and up.

What drives cost
Number of zones
Speaker count per zone
Wire run distance and conduit
Amplifier rack location
Integration with existing smart-home
Priced after a site walk

Every system is quoted after walking the property. The number we quote is the number you pay. No mid-project surprises.

Zones, not just speakers

Sound exactly where you want it. Nowhere you don't.

Each zone has its own amplifier and can use its own speaker type. Landscape sets with buried subwoofers for open lawns and pool surrounds. Overhead speakers under covered patios and outdoor kitchens. In-ceiling where a soffit calls for it. All of it controlled together or separately from your phone, most often through Sonos.

Cook with music in the kitchen, swim with something different at the pool, leave the front yard quiet. Most customers dial it in at a level that stays on the property. If you want to push it up for a party, the system has the headroom. Your call, zone by zone.

Outdoor Sound Systems Across Houston

Designed and installed across the greater Houston metro.

Outdoor audio is one of our strongest service categories in the northern Houston corridor. The Woodlands in particular has been a steady source of multi-zone systems, where wooded backyards and large outdoor living areas reward a real sound system over a single speaker pair.

We also build outdoor sound systems across River Oaks, Memorial, Tanglewood, West University, Bellaire, Spring, Klein, Cypress, Tomball, Katy, and Sugar Land. If you're within about 40 miles of downtown Houston, we can come out for a consultation.

The Woodlands Spotlight
Why the Woodlands is one of our best audio markets.

Mature trees, wooded lots, and outdoor living spaces designed to be lived in. The acoustics ask for distributed speakers and real low end. The setting calls for hardware that disappears.

Sound system, holiday lighting, landscape lighting, and bistro lights for the Woodlands all run out of the same crew. See our Woodlands page →
