What I do with your information.
This page tells you what the website collects, where it goes, who else can see it, and how to get it deleted. I checked every line of it against the code that runs the site, so it describes what actually happens here rather than a form somebody handed me.
Last updated 22 August 2026Who you are dealing with
LUX Lighting Services is my Christmas light business in Houston. I am Carlos, I own it, and I am the person who reads what comes in through this website. Mail reaches me at 2261 Northpark Drive #1126, Kingwood, TX 77339.
This page covers luxlightingservice.com. If anything on it is unclear, email info@luxlightingservice.com or call or text (832) 982-1309 and ask me.
What you send me when you ask for a quote
The quote form asks for your full name, your phone number, your email address, and the street address where the lights would go, along with the city, state, and ZIP. Those are the parts I need to price the job and get a crew to the right house.
The rest of the form is up to you. You pick which parts of the house you want lit and what look you want, you tell me when you want the lights on, and you tell me whether I have lit your home before. There is a box for anything else you want me to know, and whatever you type in it reaches me word for word. Please do not put anything in that box you would not want stored somewhere.
The form also takes photos of your home, and that is really the point of it. I measure your roofline from your photos instead of driving out, and I build your mockup from them. When you hit send, your picks and any estimate you ran on the pricing page get folded into the same note that comes to me.
Where all of that goes
The form posts to this site's own server, which runs on Cloudflare. That server does two things with what you sent.
Your photos go into Cloudflare R2, which is Cloudflare's file storage. Each photo gets its own link, and that link travels along with the rest of your request.
Everything else goes to the LUX platform at app.luxlightingservice.com. That is the system I run the business on, and it is where I read your request, write your quote, and put you on the install calendar. Nothing about your request is sent to an outside CRM and nothing is passed to a marketing company.
If you go ahead and book, your quote and your past seasons live in the LUX client hub at my.luxlightingservice.com. That is the same system of mine, showing you the customer side of it.
Cookies
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity each set cookies in your browser so they can tell one visit apart from another. That is what the cookies on this site are for.
I do not run advertising cookies and there is no retargeting pixel here. Nothing on this site follows you around the internet to show you ads for Christmas lights later.
You can block or clear these in your browser settings, and Google publishes a browser add-on that switches Google Analytics off everywhere you go. Most browsers with tracking protection turned on already block both of these. Blocking them costs you nothing here, because the site works exactly the same either way.
Who else sees it
This is the whole list. Cloudflare hosts the site and stores your photos. Google runs the analytics. Microsoft runs Clarity. The platform holding your request is mine, and it runs on Vercel and Supabase. If you go on to pay a deposit, that payment runs through Stripe, and I never see or store your card number. My own crew sees your address and your photos, because they have to get to your house and hang the right display.
I do not sell your information. I do not trade it or rent it, and I do not hand it to a lead broker. The only other situation where any of it leaves that list is if the law requires me to produce it.
How long I keep it
The straight answer is that I keep your quote request and your customer record for as long as you are a LUX customer, and after that for as long as I need it to run the business and keep my books right for taxes. I have not set a fixed deletion date, and I am not going to print one on this page that I do not actually enforce.
Your photos sit in storage on the same footing. They are how I rebuild your display next season without measuring your roof all over again.
The analytics numbers and the Clarity recordings are held by Google and Microsoft inside their own tools, on their own schedules. Those clocks are not mine to set.
Getting your information deleted
Email info@luxlightingservice.com and tell me what you want removed, or call or text (832) 982-1309. Give me the name and the address you used so I can find the right record.
I can delete your request, your customer record, and your photos out of my own systems. What I can do inside Google Analytics and Clarity is limited to what their tools let me delete, so I will tell you what I was able to do instead of promising more than that.
One thing to know first. If we are in the middle of a job, deleting your record means I no longer have your address, your plan, or your photos, and we would have to stop and start the whole thing over. Ask me and I will tell you what is on file before you decide.
Children
This site is for homeowners buying Christmas lights. It is not built for children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
If this changes
When the site changes what it does, I change this page and move the date at the top of it. There is no archive of old versions here, so that date is how you know when it was last true.
Questions about any of it come straight to me at info@luxlightingservice.com or (832) 982-1309.
